Soundbar to Your PC

Having a hard time connecting your best soundbar for gaming to your personal computer? Don’t worry! This article will teach you how to properly do it.

1.Via Bluetooth

Turn the soundbar on.

Check what kind of soundbar you have. Is it a battery-operated device or does it need an electrical source of power?

Make sure to insert the desired batteries if it is battery-operated before you press down on the power button.

If it needs an electrical power source, check if it is correctly plugged in the outlet prior to pressing the ON button.

Allow the device to connect with the soundbar.

Some devices have pairing features that ask you to provide a pairing pin so that the next time you reconnect, it will be easier.

Others need not be paired manually because they have an automatic capacity to pair with the devices nearby.

Startup the Action Center of Windows 10.

This is usually located at the bottom of your computer’s screen, right next to the date and time in the taskbar.

Activate your Bluetooth.

Look for the Bluetooth icon, a bowtie-like icon turned sideways. Check if it’s already turned on.

Look for the Connect button and click on it.

It is usually located in the Action Center of your computer. Wait until the system completes the scanning of nearby devices.

Connect to the correct name of the soundbar you have.

If it is already connected, all the audio you are playing will be heard over the soundbar.

2.Via AUX Cable

Attach one end of the cable to your computer’s audio port.

Plug in the 3.5mm knave into the computer’s audio port.

Attach the other end to the soundbar.

Once you have successfully connected the soundbar to the computer, it will play the audio that you are currently listening to.

3.Via a Toslink Cable or the Cable for Optical Audio

Turn the soundbar on.

Check what kind of soundbar you have. Is it a battery-operated device or does it need an electrical source of power?

Make sure to insert the desired batteries if it is battery-operated before you press down on the power button.

If it needs an electrical power source, check if it is correctly plugged in the outlet prior to pressing the ON button.

Attach one end of the cable to your computer’s audio port.

When using this cable, it should fall into place. Do not be confused as one end of the cable is really designed to fit one port only, one is a square-shaped figure and the other is angled.

Attach the other end to the soundbar.

On a desktop, it is commonly located at the back of the Central Processing Unit.

On a laptop, it can be found on the sides, rarely at the back. However, some models, especially the slim types, do not have this TOSLINK or Optical Audio.

Once you have successfully connected the soundbar to the computer, it will play the audio that you choose to hear.

Just follow these simple steps and you’re ready to roll. Enjoy your music!
