Taipei, Taiwan, June 11, 2006 -- AXIOMTEK is proud to launch the MPC150-810, an ultra slim medical panel computer, which is equipped with a 15-inch high brightness (350nits) LCD and a superior low voltage Intel® Pentium M® 1.4G or ultra low voltage Intel® Celeron M 800MHz processor. The MPC150-810 is designed as a fanless thermal solution, which not only enhances system reliability, but also reduces operation noise, a major concern of many medical applications. It is a complete and fully functional panel computer especially designed for POC (Point of Care) applications and is an excellent HMI (Human Machine Interface) unit for medical environments.
This medical grade panel computer features an Intel® 855GME/852GM chipset with a maximum of 64MB onboard graphic memory, which offers excellent graphic performance. The panel also supports DualView and multiple IO options including 4 USB 2.0 and 2 RS-232, 1 RS-232/422/485 ports. The fanless and waterproof design (the front panel is IP65 certified and the whole enclosure is IPx1 certified) make the MPC150-810 highly reliable and suitable for any medical-related environment.
The panel computer features a PCI interface for expansion and also offers an optional slim Combo drive, and internal antenna for wireless (802.11b/g) functions. With low operation noise, low power consumption, high reliability and high performance, excellent industrial design, and a user-friendly interface, the MPC150-810 not only sports a slim and professional outlook, but also a user-friendly interface.

Other multiple IO features include one VGA connector, one PS/2 port, one RJ-45 port, Speaker-out, one PCMCIA slot, and one CompactFlashTM slot.
