Brocade Technology Enables Complete 4 Gbit/sec SAN Infrastructure on the New HP StorageWorks EVA Disk Array24 February 2006
Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (Brocade(R)) (Nasdaq: BRCD), today announced that its technology would enable a complete 4 Gbit/sec Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure on the new HP StorageWorks EVA 4 Gbit/sec disk array, and that the complete family of Brocade-based 4 Gbit/sec SAN switches and directors is now available directly from HP. In addition, an embedded module for the HP p-Class BladeSystem is 4 Gbit/sec-ready, and the Brocade-designed 4 Gbit/sec director is offered by HP as the StorageWorks SAN Director 4/256.
