CbtTechs Releases New Web Site Design Along with New Forums Design23 January 2005
Three days ago, if you know where to look, you could have seen a “sneak peek” of the new design. Although there was no direct link to it on their main site (http://cbttechs.com) you could still find it, if you looked closely. It was on their forums (http://cbttechs.com/forums) The new design allows for easier navigation for all parts of the site instead of the old design. The old design can still be found by going to http://oldesign.cbttechs.com you can see the huge difference between the new one and the old version. Tyler Cole (President of CbtTechs) said this afternoon “We are proud to release our new design, it is so much easier and simple for everyone to use”. The new design allows for easy navigation for products (available in the left column), compared to the older version where you had to click on “Products” then “Full Product Listing” and finally “Choose your item”. Much easier for everyone. The new design is on a gray and white scale, compared to the blue and black on the old one. The introduction of the Site Map function on the new design, allows for much easier surfing. You can find what you need and simply click it, it is that simple!
CbtTechs never expected to release their shopping cart along with their new design, but it turned out that way. Instead of emailing CbtTechs, you can now just click 'Buy now” on their shopping cart. We now offer 175 products!
But it doesn't stop there! On December 24, 2004 CbtTechs released their Support Forum.
It is an open community for anyone who wishes to join. Any member can request for free computer help, hardware help etc. But it is not only for support, they also have a very devoted community to “chatting with each other”. It gives it the “warm” feeling, you want when you join a Discussion Forum.
But today, they released their new design for the forums along with the web site. The new design is a huge step over the default vBulletin's default. It's very simple but still easy to navigate around. It gives it the feeling you want when you join forums.
