CGA-Canada Partners With Sage Software for CGA Program of Professional Studies7 April 2006
Sage Software and theCertified General Accountants Association of Canada announced today a newstrategic partnership between the two organizations, with CGA-Canadaadopting Sage Accpac ERP (enterprise resource planning) as its officialaccounting system for students who are training to become Certified GeneralAccountants (CGAs).
Sage Software, via its Sage Accpac business unit (formerly ACCPACInternational, Inc.), and CGA-Canada first established a strategicpartnership for technology training for CGAs in 1985, and have workedtogether continuously since then to promote and deliver technologyplatforms. CGA students worldwide enrolled in the CGA Program ofProfessional Studies will have an opportunity to be trained on Sage AccpacERP software. In addition, Sage Software will provide CGAs and students theopportunity to purchase training on all Sage Accpac products at discountedprices through Sage Software's Accpac University(www.accpacuniversity.com).
