Court of Kingwood Open House Planned -- Drawing to be Held for a Compaq Presario V5000T Series Laptop Computer16 July 2006
(PRWEB) July 14, 2006 -- The merchants of the Court of Kingwood, one of Kingwood's first shopping venues, are showing their appreciation for their loyal customers and welcoming new patrons with a day-long open house slated for Thursday, July 27. All residents are invited to stop by and enjoy the fun.
The shopping center, located on Woodlands Hills Drive at the intersection of Lake Hills, is home to some of Kingwood's premiere family-friendly businesses.
The businesses taking part in the event are Merry-Go-Round, Kids in Action, Kindermusik, the Pilates Studio, Shears ‘n Action!, Curves, Gerry Caster CPA, Eastex Veterinary Clinic, Broussard Video Productions, IXMAN Mortgage and Domino's Pizza. The open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 27.
Though the businesses are not new to the center, they will be celebrating their past and the future during the event. Each business has special activities planned, including face painting, a balloon artist, a moonwalk and martial arts demonstrations. Discounts and special offers will also be available to those in attendance. Refreshments will be available at the various businesses throughout the day.
Just in time for back to school – the merchants will be holding a drawing for a Compaq Presario V5000T Series notebook valued at $780. One runner up will receive an HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One Printer. No purchase is necessary to win. Participants will simply visit participating merchants during the open house and acquire a stamp from each store on their entry card. The drawing will be held at 6 p.m, and you need not be present to win.
Sparky Nolan, president of Kingwood Chamber of Commerce will be on hand for ribbon cutting ceremonies at 11:30 for Merry-Go-Round, Kids-in-Action, IXMAN Mortgage and Curves.
