Intel's newly announced Intel(r) Xeon(r) processor 5300 series delivers 2X the performance of the competition and 50% greater performance than previous generation Intel Xeon processors, all in the same power envelope. DATAllegro's upgrade to Intel quad-core technology follows the company's upgrade from single core to Intel dual-core technology in June of this year.
