IBM today announced that Dow Jones Indexes, apremier global provider of investable indexes, including the Dow JonesIndustrial Average (DJIA), has selected IBM servers as the platform tocalculate its suite of worldwide indexes and averages that are disseminatedglobally in real-time through major market data vendors and published inThe Wall Street Journal, Barron's, Dow Jones Newswires, MarketWatch andother Dow Jones and third-party publications. Dow Jones Indexes is anindependent, full-service index provider, supplying accurate, reliable andtransparent index data on a global basis.
