Engenio Alliance Partner Awards Presented to AppIQ and QLogic

The companies were chosen as Engenio's Most Valuable Alliance Partners based on their product synergy, collaborative strategic initiatives, and industry leading technology that enables Engenio to develop and sell innovative storage systems through its worldwide OEM partners. AppIQ provides storage area management solutions that seamlessly integrate heterogeneous SAN management, storage resource management (SRM), provisioning, and application management. QLogic is the industry's only single source for all the components required to build a successful SAN infrastructure.

Founded in 2001 by a team of storage industry veterans, AppIQ has quickly become a leading provider of storage resource management solutions. AppIQ StorageAuthority Suite provides active management and integration to key applications, including Oracle and Exchange. AppIQ is a strong supporter of standards-based integration (SMI-S) and was the first SRM application certified with Engenio's storage based on this standard.

QLogic has been an Engenio preferred technology partner for a number of years. The company's Host Bus Adapters and switches are key elements of the storage solutions sold by Engenio. In 2004, Engenio collaborated with QLogic on a number of key programs including the Microsoft VDS initiative.
