Finally, MySpace Gets Good Publicity20 January 2007
Enough with the posting of brawls, the scandalous photos, and threats on the largest social network in the world. All of these subjects have generated massive international publicity for MySpace. It makes you wonder if any good can come out of the site. The answer is J.Jones. 20 year old R&B Recording Artist/Songwriter, who has his newest singles selling directly from his MySpace/Snocap store via his music profile. You can also get a hold of his ring tones, and even call him directly. But what makes Jones so different? "You d definitely have to hear him, and ask yourself that question, because he gives everyone a different feeling." Says Hilary Mitchell, after seeing him perform in Boston. "I got chills, you know. I wish someone like that would sing for me every night. His voice is so soothing, and makes you feel good." Jones will be pushing new singles such as "Dishes", and "Tell Me" in February, directly from his site www.myspace.com/jjonesmusic2007. " 'Dishes everybody needs to hear 'Dishes because it s such a different song. You don t hear subjects like this. And it amazes me how he creates these songs because a regular artist wouldn t think of this. 'Dishes is a mini-story in itself, and all of us ladies wish we had someone like this." Says fan, Loretta Patterson. "He is such a different artist. Most of them are all about themselves. But you can tell from right when he puts his pen to the notebook that he is all about us." Jones commends the creators of MySpace for such an opportunity for artists. "MySpace has created the ultimate artist-to-fan relationship. I love hearing how fans actually connect and appreciate the music, and I love how they can grab the music and put it right onto their IPODs. We create the music that fans want, and they get it right away there is nothing better than that." "Artists sometimes take for granted that at any point in the day, someone can be playing, and singing along to your music. That s something I keep in my head, and I truly appreciate each and every person that becomes a fan, who gets on the mailing list, and who supports the music." You can hear J.Jones music at his MySpace site, www.myspace.com/jjonesmusic2007. Don t forget to hit him up, because he ll get right back at you, and sign up for his mailing list. You ll be seeing a lot more of Jones in the near future. -Tonya Davis-
