FSC orders Mechtronix Non Zero Flight Time(TM) FFS X(TM) to train Malev Hungarian Airlines' pilots20 July 2006
r> MONTREAL, July 19 - Flight Simulation Company B.V. (FSC) of The Netherlands has adopted the Non Zero Flight Time(TM) training model with the purchase of a B737NG FFS X(TM) NZFT(TM) from Mechtronix Systems, a worldwide fast growing flight training equipment company. This simulator will be dedicated primarily to the recurrent training of the pilot fleet for Malev Hungarian Airlines. Malev is currently at Mechtronix' facility for their in-plant acceptance. The NZFT(TM) FFS X(TM) allows airline companies, such as Malev Hungarian Airlines, to incur a significant cost reduction in training expenses. With a qualification enabling 100% of recurrent training, a NZFT compliant simulator allows substantial cost savings over the classic level D full flight simulator. Under JAR-STD 1A regulations, the qualifications of the NZFT(TM) enables full recurrent training inclusive of Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), Wind Shear and Low Visibility Approaches (CAT III). "Pilots will now be able to complete 100% of their recurrent training and 80% of their type rating without leaving the country," said Mr. Bob Van Balen, Managing Director of FSC. "Mechtronix NZFT(TM) is a revolutionary simulator in the market. We are very proud owners of an Ascent(R) FFS X(TM) NZFT(TM)." "We are extremely pleased that FSC and its customer Malev Hungarian Airlines recognize the unique value of the FFS X(TM) Non Zero Flight Time(TM) by making it the core part of their flight training program," said Mechtronix's president, Xavier Herve. "The NZFT(TM) is now an established business reality in aviation training worldwide. This achievement further confirms that our products not only meet a higher quality standard than required, but also continue to exceed the expectations of our customers."
