Fujitsu to Showcase Leading Serial Hard Disk Drive Technology Performance at IDF Spring in San Francisco2 March 2006

To illustrate the outstanding performance characteristics of a Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) based storage solution, Fujitsu will have on display a 24 bay 2.5" SAS configuration in an AIC enclosure. The marriage of exceptional performance and reliability, low power consumption and outstanding heat dissipation, all in a small footprint, make this an ideal compact storage solution for mission critical data. Additionally, Fujitsu will demonstrate an external enclosure backup solution for near-line, non critical storage backup, comprised of a 50 disk tower enclosure populated with Fujitsu 2.5" Serial ATA (SATA) hard disk drives, and utilizing 6TB of storage.
