GoDaddy Adds Simplicity and Convenience With New Fax Thru Email Service9 January 2005
Fax Thru Email customers are provided their own personal Arizona-based phone number to use for both sending and receiving faxes over the Internet. Inbound faxes are converted to a PDF file and routed to an email address of the customer's choosing, where they can be downloaded onto the customer's computer. Outbound faxes are sent from the customer's email address to a designated fax number, which can be another Fax Thru Email account, or, a traditional fax machine. Fax Thru Email allows users to rid themselves of the traditional hardware, including the fax machine, printer cartridge and a separate expensive telephone line. All that is needed is a computer and an email address. An intuitive management interface tracks all inbound and outbound fax activity.
"While Go Daddy already offers a full suite of products and services that simplify and enhance the Internet experience, we feel it is important to continually expand our offerings," said Bob Parsons, president and founder of The Go Daddy Group, recently ranked the fastest growing technology company (No. 8 overall) on the Inc. 500 list of America's Fastest Growing Private Companies. "Fax Thru Email service is yet another product developed in direct response to customer requests."
"Go Daddy has provided me yet another practical service that allows me to reduce my faxing costs without sacrificing service," said Ronald Bratt of www.auction-safari.com.
Fax Thru Email further solidifies Go Daddy's position as a full-service, low-cost provider. The offering comes in addition to Go Daddy's established core services of domain registration, web hosting, secure SSL Certificates and email. All Go Daddy products and services are offered at competitive prices, with industry-leading, 24/7 live and on-line support
