Hexago Releases Migration Broker Version 3.03 July 2005
Hexago, the leading provider of IPv6 solutions, announced today that version 3.0 of Migration Broker® is now shipping. This release contains significant new features including major performance improvements and AAA Radius support.
"The new features in this release have all been developed at the request of our customers," said Marc Blanchet, CTO of Hexago. "Migration Brokers are in use today, enabling IPv6 trials and deployments all over the world."
Carrier-Grade Features
Hexago's tunneling solutions enable large-scale V6 deployments over IPv4/v6 networks. Migration Broker®'s performance has been turbocharged, now enabling 50,000 active tunnels without any forwarding performance degradation. Depending on its use, a single Migration Broker® can now support hundreds of thousands of users. In addition, this release supports Radius remote AAA servers enabling providers or enterprises to reuse their current AAA database for user authentication and billing.
"We continue to be impressed with the speed in which Hexago has been evolving its products," said Yves Poppe, Director of IP strategy for Teleglobe. "IPv6 in combination with Radius and AAA opens new applications and revenue streams in an IP converging world where mobility and nomadicity are of ever increasing importance."
