Ice Pilots Pick up 3 out of 4Points last Weekend vs. Greenville: The Ice Pilots defeated the Greenville Grrrowlon Saturday night at the Pensacola Civic Center 4-3 in a shootout. Nick Lindberg,Shaun Landolt and Bryson Busniuk scored goals for the Ice Pilots. Adam Courchainescored the only goal in the shootout. Todd Ford was the winning goalie stopping 42out of 45 shots during regulation and stopped all five shooters in theshootout.
The Ice Pilots picked up a point in a 4-3 overtime loss vs. Greenvilleon Friday night at the Pensacola Civic Center. Adam Courchaine, Chris Heid and NickLindberg scored the goals for the Ice Pilots. Heid forced an overtime by scoring apower play goal with twenty seconds left in regulation. David Cann picked up theovertime loss in goa! l for the Ice Pilots stopping 32 out of 36 shots.
Ice Pilots Host PhoenixRoadrunners this Thursday and Friday night at 7:05 p.m. Friday night during thefirst intermission will be a ceremony for the "Voice of the Ice Pilots"Paul Chestnutt who will be broadcasting his last Ice Pilots game. Chestnutt hasbroadcast every single game in Ice Pilots history except two (He missed two gamesbecause of the birth of his son Matthew.) Baptist Health Care will also sponsor anintermission.
The Ice Pilots will also play at Gwinnett on Saturday night at 6:35p.m. central time.
Tentative Practice Schedule this week: The Ice Pilots willpractice at the Civic Center on Monday through Wednesday at 10 a.m. The Ice Pilotswill have a pre skate on Thursday and Friday at 10 a.m. and play Phoenix onThursday and Friday at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will play at Gwinnett on Saturdayat 6:35 p.m. central time. Dodge Player of the Week: Forward Adam Courchaine has been nominated for the ECHL Player of the week. Courchaine scored on goal and picked up threeassists in the two games vs. Greeenville and also scored the only goal in theshootout on Saturday night vs. Greenville.
