inFusion® eForms 6.0 Delivers Electronic Forms Workflow for IBM® Workplace Forms® and Adobe PDF9 July 2006
ITM Associates, Inc. announced support for IBM Workplace Forms as well as legacy Adobe PDFs within eForms 6.0. The new ITM offering, inFusion eForms 6.0, combines ITM's PDF inFusion eForms 5.5 and PDF inFusion WorkFlow 3.5 products along with its recently developed integration with the WorkPlace Forms Viewer and WorkPlace Forms WebForms Server. "PDF has been the de-facto standard in forms. Clearly, the future of eForms is XML," said Ian Altman, President of ITM. "InFusion eForms 6.0 gives our clients point-and-click forms routing and approval with the flexibility of choice in format between advanced XML and legacy PDF. Organizational changes don't happen overnight. Our clients want to leverage their investment in PDF forms, while taking advantage of the advances of XML through IBM Workplace Forms." inFusion eForms 6.0 delivers an easy-to-use interface to manage and track draft, submitted, and approved forms within a dynamic workflow environment. Approvers receive email notifications when forms are ready for review, and have access to a simple yet powerful interface to manage forms submitted for approval. Unlike other products on the market, inFusion eForms does not physically route the forms in emails. Rather, the submitted data resides on secure servers that populate the form template when requested while preserving digital signatures and enforceable audit trails. ITM has been working closely with IBM since last fall to define requirements for integrating Workplace Forms and ITM's routing and approval capabilities and presenting the solution to its mutual clients. ITM plans to make inFusion eForms 6.0 generally available in August, 2006. ITM Associates, a wholly owned subsidiary of International Barcode Corporation d/b/a BTI", has extensive experience automating paper form-based business processes for clients in both the private and government sectors.
