Ingenico and TPI Software Form Marketing and Referral Agreement18 January 2006
r> ATLANTA, GA, Jan. 17 - Ingenico, the world's leading provider of electronic payment terminals, announced today the formation of a marketing agreement with TPI Software LLC, a leading provider of credit card, PIN-based debit, gift card, EBT, and electronic check processing software for retail and online merchants.
Ingenico will work with TPI to address the payment acceptance needs of mid-sized and smaller retailers that need a low cost PC payment processing software solution. TPI SmartPayments(TM) utilize the Internet to provide the retailer with 2-3 second transaction times while eliminating the cost of a modem & phone line. SmartPayments can be used as a non-integrated stand beside solution or seamlessly integrated with most POS systems, including Microsoft's new RMS POS software to provide a complete payment and inventory management solution.
Ingenico's complete range of multi-lane, IP-enabled, wireless and dial terminals will work with SmartPayments, eliminating the need for POS software companies to individually integrate to each Ingenico terminal. TPI also supports credit card electronic signature capture retrieval with the Ingenico eN-Touch 1000, i6550 and i6770 payment terminals.
