Intel and Kineo collaborate on Higher Education E-learning Research

The joint research project will provide neutral, trusted advice to both Higher Education institutions vendors of the e-learning and LMS market across EMEA by conducting a comprehensive review of offerings and players in each market and plotting against best practice and desired solutions in the Higher Eduction Institutions.

Stephen Walsh of Kineo said: "The LMS and e-learning markets can appear fragmented and confusing to those in Higher Education who are charged with making procurement and partnership decisions. Part of our mission is to provide guidance and advice on this market to our customers, and we re delighted to partner with Intel on this front".

Jan Kennedy of Intel said: "Intel are relatively new to E-learning solutions. Partnering with Kineo has helped us to quickly identify the key vendors of VLE s in a heavily segmented European market. Together, we have gained a clearer understanding of what Universities are looking for from E-learning, compared to where their current situation. It is pleasing to see that bringing ICT into the classroom will not only benefit students learning, but will help Universities to compete in an ever-increasing global market."

Both LMS providers and universities considering deployment of LMS solutions are invited to take part in the research by contacting Kineo or Intel. The research will be available from Kineo and Intel when it is completed.
