Inxight Software Announces Record Revenues for FY05, Releases Several New Products, Lands Major New Accounts and New Partners17 January 2006
Inxight(R) Software, the leading provider of enterprise software solutions for information discovery, today announced that the company had achieved record revenues for fiscal year 2005, with growth of more than 50 percent over 2004. "The entire Inxight team performed beyond our expectations," Inxight President and CEO Ian Bonner said. Other 2005 Highlights Along with record revenues, Inxight reported several other highlights for the year: * Inxight spun off its government business as a wholly owned subsidiary - Inxight Federal Systems Group -- which continues its strong momentum in government sales and support. * The purchase of Intelliseek's federated search and alert technology assets, which was rebranded and integrated into the market-leading Inxight SmartDiscovery(TM) product line to become Inxight SmartDiscovery Awareness Server. * Inxight then engineered and released SmartDiscovery Awareness Server 5.2, offering customizable architecture and integrated user authentication, and in December, released SmartDiscovery Awareness Server 5.4, with innovative entity clustering of federated search results. * The company also engineered and released SmartDiscovery Analysis Server 4.2, offering faster, more flexible and accurate extraction, categorization and search indexing capabilities. * Inxight's newly formed Inxight Research group secured a $1.93 million research contract from the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory to focus on applying Inxight's powerful multilingual extraction capabilities in extremely high-speed environments for the rapid processing of intelligence data. * Sales landed several seven-figure deals, including one with the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, which awarded Inxight a $1.7 million contract for its counterterrorism solution that covers all nine of the Unified Combatant Commands, U.S. Forces Korea and the five new Regional Service Centers. * Several technology solutions partnerships were inked, including: Kapow Technologies for faster, automated Web content collection and unstructured text processing; Intellisophic for its machine-generated taxonomies for more accurate search and data discovery in Inxight SmartDiscovery; Agent Logic for a solution that enables real-time event and information monitoring, particularly for intelligence agencies; and ZyLAB for SmartDiscovery integration into the ZyIMAGE Professional Text Mining Suite for the European market. * The general availability of Inxight StarTree(R) SDK 1.0 for .NET, certified by Microsoft, bringing the benefits of the StarTree technology to developers who prefer working in the Microsoft .NET environment. * The addition of five new languages to its LinguistX Natural Language Processing Platform -- Catalan, Croatian, Slovak, Slovenian and Serbian -- bringing the total languages that Inxight supports to 32. * The hiring of general managers for the Government and OEM divisions, to continue to expand sales growth in those sectors. * Several corporate awards, including: KMWorld Magazine naming Inxight SmartDiscovery Analysis Server a Trend-setting Product for the third consecutive year; the EContent 100 list of Companies That Matter Most in the Digital Content Industry for the third consecutive year; AlwaysOn honored Inxight as a 100 Top Private Company for the third consecutive year; and KMWorld's 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management, also for the third consecutive year.
