Iomega Corporation Announces Appointment of Preston Romm as Chief Financial Officer28 March 2006
SAN DIEGO, March 27, 2006- Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a leader in data storage, today announced that Preston Romm has been appointed as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.
Romm, 52, has nearly 30 years of finance and accounting experience, including extensive operational experience as a chief financial officer with multiple public and privately held high tech companies. Romm was most recently Vice President of Finance, CFO, Treasurer and Secretary at Dot Hill Systems Corporation, a $250 million publicly traded storage systems company.

Prior to joining Dot Hill in 1999, Romm was Vice President of Finance, CFO and Secretary at Verteq, Inc., a privately held $60 million company in the front-end semiconductor capital equipment industry. Romm s finance leadership experience in technology-related industries also includes assignments as Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer with MTI Technology Corporation from 1990 to 1994, followed by the role of Vice President of Finance and Administration and CFO at STM Wireless, Inc., from 1994 to 1997. Romm is currently a Director of Netlist, Inc., a developer of high-density memory subsystems. Romm has a Bachelor s degree in accounting from the University of Maryland, and an MBA in finance from American University.
