Laive and IBM Sign $2-Million IT Outsourcing Agreement29 June 2006
Peruvian food maker Laive has signed afive-year, $2-million outsourcing contract with IBM for its entire IToperation and infrastructure. The agreement includes the implementation of an ERP system to integrate allcompany operations and improve data sharing and communication. This willallow Laive to prepare for major business growth in the coming years andbetter control its IT and business processes. "After a lengthy assessment process, we selected IBM because it is anindustry leader and because of its expertise and reliability in theadministration of our computing systems," said Alfredo Garcia Pye, generalmanager for Laive. "The agreement will help us prepare technologically tomanage the future growth of our company."
