MobileTrax Names iPass Acquisition of Mobile Automation as One of the Best Mobile

MobileTrax named the iPass Inc. (Nasdaq: IPAS - News) acquisition of Mobile Automation, completed in Q4 last year, as one of the best mergers and acquisitions to impact mobile computing in 2004. "There's a need to honor the best and finest mobile computing and wireless data communications products and services," said J. At the time the Mobile Automation acquisition was announced, iPass CEO Ken Denman said, "Mobile computers and PDAs are the weakest links in the enterprise security chain.
