Navantis Welcomes Industry Veteran Frank Clegg

Navantis Inc., a leading provider of premium IT services and solutions, today announced that technology industry veteran Frank Clegg, former President of Microsoft Canada, has joined the company as Corporate Director and Chairman. In this role, Mr. Clegg will work closely with the Navantis management team to define the company's future direction and growth strategy, particularly around its expansion into emerging new markets.  Mr. Clegg will also build on Navantis' strengths to help the company deliver even greater value to customers. With this goal in mind, he will guide Navantis as it couples its unique global delivery model with its strong local consulting presence to bring customers unprecedented quality, innovation and ROI. During this time he introduced several key initiatives to improve efficiency, growth and market share, which helped him win the prestigious President's Award for outstanding subsidiary performance five times in six years. In 1996, Mr. Clegg was appointed Vice President Central U.S. and Canada Region and was re-appointed President of Microsoft Canada in 2000, where he remained until January 2005. Under Mr. Clegg's supervision, Microsoft Canada was awarded Subsidiary of the Year in 2001 and 2003 by Microsoft Corp.  Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Clegg spent several years with IBM Canada in senior management positions. Mr. Clegg holds an Honours Degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
