On The Go Technologies Awarded $90,000 Telco Contract7 August 2005
On The Go Technologies Group ('the Company'), a leading multi-industry computer hardware, software and peripherals VAR and systems integrator and corporate multimedia digital service solutions provider, announced today that the Company's Infinity Technologies Division has been awarded a contract to deliver communication and routing devices to an Ontario based Telco firm. The contract, in the amount of $90,000, involves the delivery of 50 communications and integrated Virtual Private Network (VPN) routing and spam technology devices. The first 15 devices, representative of Phase 1 of the contract, have been shipped, with the balance of the order to be shipped and installed by end of August 2005. According to international research firm Frost and Sullivan, the Telecom and Communications sector is focusing strongly on effective "triple-play" offerings: voice, the Internet, and video. Those that make the decision to offer such services, as this client is, are more apt to retain the most lucrative customers and capture a stronger market share from Cable operators. With such increased capabilities, these Telco carriers will be in a position to increase revenues significantly, not only in conjunction with the triple-play bundle but also as future high bandwidth and converged applications gain in popularity. "Infinity continues to provide us strong order flow as we commence our 2006 fiscal year," Stuart Turk, Company President and CEO, remarked. "Telco's and communication service providers have always proven to be active equipment users, as indicated by industry forecasts. We anticipate a long and resourceful relationship with this client."
