OneInternetShoppingCentre.com Capitalizes on Pixel Advertising, Offers 12,000,000 Pixels in First Outing

As opposed to similar sites that sell a page of pixel-space and make promises about leaving the site online for 4/5 years, OneInternetShoppingCentre.com looks to actively promote the site to continually drive traffic to the site and ultimately increase the flow of traffic to sites that are pixel-advertised on its webpages.

As the company mentions in the FAQ section of its website: "You don't come up with a name like OneInternetShoppingCentre.com and not ensure that it becomes a worldbeater."

One immediately obvious distinguishing feature of the OneInternetShoppingCentre.com site is that it is aimed at shops and stores , businesses, you'd usually find at a mall or shopping centre near you, hence the name.

Unlike some other sites which only host a homepage, OneInternetShoppingCentre.com addresses the issue of providing advertising space to more advertisers than would fit a homepage, hence close the site to further business, by providing product categories, in this case, covering the essentials of shopping.

"Focusing our business on a select category of items allows us to present our site as a speciality site and promote it accordingly," says Kofi Ohene-Asa Akuffo, Chief Executive of UniRoyal InterVentures, which owns and operates the site.

A particularly unique feature of the site is the use of Yahoo! Search Marketing wordcounter, which allows advertisers to check the total number of times a keyword linked to their product has been counted by Yahoo! Search Marketing in the previous month. This feature allows the advertiser to see how useful OneInternetShoppingCentre.com really is an advertising medium.

In the months of April and May 2006, a significant total of 150,325,149 keywords relating to the subject matter of items categorized for pixel advertising on OneInternetShoppingCentre.com were recognized by Yahoo! Search Marketing.
