Today's announcement follows EarthLink Municipal Network's official build out of Anaheim, which is on schedule to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2006. System Requirements
PeoplePC Wi-Fi Home service requires a Wi-Fi Modem (an additional charge may apply) which is shipped to members as part of a self-installation kit. PeoplePC Wi-Fi Mobile service does not require the Wi-Fi Modem, but rather is accessed via a wireless-enabled laptop computer. PeoplePC Wi-Fi Mobile works with Microsoft Windows-based laptops running either a Microsoft Windows XP operating system with Service Pack 2 or Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system with Service Pack 4. The laptop must also be equipped with a wireless networking card compatible with 802.11b or 802.11g wireless technology.
