PictureRite Adds Visual Eulogy Memorials to its Suite of Products and Services

Inspired by a very personal experience, PictureRite Corporation officially announces the addition of visual eulogy memorials to its product portfolio. The creation of this service was driven by the desire to honor a co-founder’s father, and the service has since grown in popularity through word of mouth.
The passing of a loved one is a dramatic and traumatic part of everyone’s lives. Such an event came to pass during the development of new products for PictureRite Corp. Ray Adams; co-founder of the company, lost his father while he and the other founders were developing art-based products for the 4-year-old company. At the time, he was working with artists from around the world.
Transforming his personal grief into an artistic opportunity for others, Adams asked one of the artists to create a visual eulogy, or collage, in his father’s memory. He gave the artist a few pictures and details about his father, such as favorite location, colors, and personality traits. With such heartfelt collaboration, the outcome of the design was very moving. Everyone in the family insisted on a copy, and eventually word of mouth about the project spread. Since that time, PictureRite has created several visual eulogies for people throughout the country as they also sought loving tributes to those they lost.
“We have had so many great experiences in creating these memorials,” said Adams. “We’ve had people call us with very emotional thanks for the work we have delivered. It is refreshing to see someone creative look at a few facts about a loved one and create a memorial that captures poignant aspects of that person’s life. Mine, honoring my father, is a framed 24 X 36 print that I see every time I walk up the stairs at my home.”
The company quickly learned that not every artist is successful at designing a visual eulogy, noted Adams. Of the artists presently designing for PictureRite, only two have been successful in delivering designs that represent the personalities of the people they memorialize. It takes an extremely talented artist who is attuned to people’s emotions to design something that carries as much relevance and resonance as these memorials do, Adams said.

You can select from several designs or choose to have a visual eulogy custom-created in remembrance of your loved one. Prices start at $59.99. A selection of frames are also available for a compete package.
