Postini Appoints New Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales From Adobe, IBM7 February 2006
Postini, the global leader in Integrated Message Management, announced today the appointment of Don Beck, former vice president of North American solution sales at Adobe Software, as the new executive vice president of worldwide sales of Postini. Beck joins Postini with vast experience in software sales strategy and field sales management handling software and professional services solutions for high profile companies including Adobe, Brio, IBM, and J.D. Edwards.
At Adobe, Beck built and managed the Enterprise sales organization, where he consistently exceeded revenue targets and objectives. He also established strong partnerships with all supporting lines of business, and dramatically grew strategic key performance indicators.
Beck also served in a senior role at Brio Software, where as executive vice president of worldwide Sales, he managed a 260-person, $200 Million-revenue business. Prior to Brio, Beck was vice president of channel sales at J.D. Edwards, where he generated over $100 Million in sales from indirect partners. He also held a variety of executive and managerial positions at IBM, where he spent 18 years in key sales leadership and large account management positions.
