Reminder Notice: ATI Technologies Special Meeting of Shareholders

ATI Technologies Inc. (TSX: ATY)(NASDAQ: ATYT) today issued a reminder that it will hold a Special Meeting of Shareholders with respect to a plan of arrangement relating to the proposed acquisition of ATI by Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE: AMD). The meeting materials, including the Notice of the Meeting, Management Information Circular and form of Proxy, were mailed to shareholders of record as at September 1, 2006, and are also available at www.sedar.com and www.sec.gov.

The meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. Toronto time on Friday, October 13, 2006 at Le Royal Meridien King Edward Hotel, 37 King Street East, Toronto, Ontario.
