My "Sell" rating is reserved for stocks that meet a specific set of criteria. This rating is not a long-term rating, rather a short-term opinion that does not reflect on the underlying fundamentals of ATI Technologies. If you are a long-term holder of the stock or believe ATI Technologies' fundamentals warrant a "buy rating," understand that my opinion is meant to give traders or investors a look at the stock on a short-term basis and hopefully help them find an entry position at a better price than the close of Friday.

I believe ATYT -- on a technical basis -- is "overbought." To qualify as a "Sell," a stock's Stochastics and Relative Strength indicators must be in classic "overbought" positions. There are more proprietary factors I consider such as how moving averages are crossing and more.

If a stock is rated "Sell," I believe the stock is poised for either a move lower or a cessation of any recent price increases. I like the term "exit point."
