ActivShopper, officially launched last March, has quickly gained thousands of online users who are attracted by its instant and timely price comparison technology. The free browser plug-in for Microsoft Internet Explorer automatically appears in the browser toolbar whenever users visit a product page at an eCommerce site, then displays the best Internet price for the same product. Users can click on the toolbar for expanded price/rating comparisons, with the option to be taken directly to any of the sites offering preferred terms or ratings.
ActivShopper currently provides real-time data for millions of computer hardware/software products, books, digital cameras, TVs, batteries, and MP3 players, among others.
