SonicWALL Names Chee Heng Loon Vice President, Asia Pacific to Lead Accelerated Channel and Sales Development in the Region

SonicWALL, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNWL), a leading provider of network, Web, email security and backup and recovery solutions, today announced that it has appointed Chee Heng Loon Vice President, Asia Pacific, effective immediately. Heng Loon brings to SonicWALL extensive experience as a sales and channels executive in Asia Pacific, having served most recently as General Manager, Asia South and Alliance Director, Asia Pacific for FileNet, an IBM Group company.

Heng Loon joins SonicWALL with over 20 years of experience in Asia Pacific management roles at leading technology companies including IBM, Hewlett Packard, Sun Microsystems and Horizon Education and Technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec.
