TRC Interactive Releases TellerSolution Version 88 February 2006
TRC Interactive, Inc., the nation's leader in interactive bank and credit union training, recently released a new version of its award-winning TellerSolution ~ Multimedia Teller Training Program®. TellerSolution® reflects TRC Interactive's 32 years of training design experience and is updated annually to keep up with the changes in currency, procedures, and financial industry requirements. TellerSolution® was recently recognized by the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) with the 2005 Best Practices in Programming Award within the Corporate/Business category. The award recognizes organizations that have designed and delivered outstanding and comprehensive best practices distance learning programming for an individual program or a series of programs. Enhancements to TellerSolution® Release 8.0 include: 1. The Security Module has been divided into two Modules: Security -- Schemes Aimed at Customers/Members, and Security -- Schemes Aimed at Financial Institutions. 2. "Pharming" (internet fraud) has been added to the Security - Schemes Aimed at Customers/Members Module. 3. For banks, a new module -- The FDIC -- has been added. This includes the purpose and functions of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. 4. For credit unions, The NCUA has been added. This includes the purpose and functions of the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). 5. New Modules include the general qualifications for deposit insurance based on account type, ownership, and the type of coverage. In addition, suggested responses to possible questions your employees might receive regarding deposit insurance are included. 6. Bookmarking has been added. This feature allows trainees to take a break in the middle of a Module and when he/she returns and signs back in, TellerSolution® remembers where the participant left off. 7. The ability to 'check off' the completed Modules on the Main Menu so employees can keep track of their progress has been added. 8. Updated Action Guide information is included on the CD-ROM. 9. When setting up the new upgrade, the Administrator will select whether they want the trainees to take their Final Exams and have the results saved on the hard-drive (as it currently is) or if the Final Exam scores will be saved online in a database (a seamless transition for the trainee). For those who select the online version, it will save the Administrator from having to go to each hard-drive to download the scores and reports. Through TellerSolution Central, the Administrator will be able to go to one site, gather all of the scores, and run reports. TellerSolution ~ Multimedia Teller Training Program® is an efficient and cost-effective solution for training new and part-time Tellers and is available both online or CD-ROM. It improves Teller performance while significantly reducing training costs and can be customized to each financial institution's specific needs, policies, procedures, etc. An engaging and creative 19 modules make up the learner-paced program.
