Xilinx Delivers Industry's First 667 Mbps DDR2 SDRAM Interface Solution1 February 2006
Xilinx Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX) today announced the immediate availability of the Virtex(TM)-4 FPGA based 667 Mbps DDR2 Reference Design delivering the highest bandwidth, most reliable memory interface solution in the FPGA industry. The Xilinx 667 DDR2-SDRAM interface uses the innovative Virtex-4 ChipSync(TM) technology, a run-time calibration circuit that significantly improves design margins and overall system reliability while reducing design cycles. Xilinx will showcase the new solution at DesignCon 2006 held February 6-9 in Santa Clara, Calif.
