XM Satellite Radio Tops 3 Million Subscribers Ahead of Year-End Goal27 December 2004

million-subscriber mark, which was our goal for the end of year," said Hugh

radios in record numbers, reinforcing XM's significant market leadership

XM offered holiday gift buyers a variety of new, next-generation products,
including the award-winning Delphi XM2Go MyFi, the first portable, hand-held
satellite radio, and the Delphi XM SKYFi2, the first plug-and-play satellite
radio with pause and replay features. XM recently announced an 11-year deal
to broadcast games for every Major League Baseball team beginning in spring
2005. XM also announced a long-term agreement with Toyota Motor Sales, USA to
provide satellite-delivered data services for Toyota, Lexus, and Scion
vehicles. In addition, Toyota will offer factory-installed XM radios in
Toyota and Lexus vehicles in 2006, and expand the number of models offering XM
as a dealer-installed option in 2005.
